Russian National Payments Card System (NSPK) joins the Berlin Group
The Russian National Payments Card System (NSPK) has decided to join the Berlin Group. NSPK is a third party processor for such payment systems as MIR (Russia-based payment scheme), Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, UnionPay, as well as an administrator of MIR. They process all domestic transactions of the above payment systems, including authorization and clearing transactions. NSPK is also a Token Service provider for MIR cards and provide all digital services for mobile payments in MIR. They also support 3D Secure 1.0 and 2.0 protocols for e-com transactions performed by cards of the above payment services. They provide MIR banks with fraud/merchant monitoring services, as well as with a decision-making system for all authentication requests processed via 3D Secure 2.0. MIR uses their contact, contactless and mobile applications, as well as their terminal contactless kernel. They support numerous certification procedures to guarantee high quality and seamless operations processed via NSPK's processing center. NSPK will shortly become a third party processor for the Russia-based faster money transfer system.
NSPK is also a participant of the EMVCo, the PCI Security Standards Council and of the global association Nexo Standards.
